Tantra originated from early Hindu texts.  Using sexual rites and practices of Vamamarga, it is believed to bring about biochemical transformations within the body to heighten the state of infinite awareness for both participants, ultimately leading to a state of bliss.

Tantric sex is taught to have three distinct purposes - procreation, pleasure and liberation.  Those seeking liberation dismiss frictional orgasm in favor of a higher form of ecstasy achieved through static embrace in the ritual lock.

In the Hindu text, the union of the male and female participants represent Shiva  and Shakti, the male and female energy, which fuse together to become a united energy field.  This remarkable balance and fusion energy is experienced on an individual level in the practice of Tantric Sex.

Various sexual rituals are practiced in Tantra in order to bring about a fusion of energies within the pranic ida and pingala channels.  These are found within the subtle bodies (the aura) of both participants.  When this happens, the sushumnanadi is awakened and kundalini rises within the body.  The experience of this eventually culminates in a blissful state of samadhi, where the individual personalities and identities of each person become completely dissolved and a unity is experience with the cosmic consciousness.

The Tantra program has been specifically designed to achieve these blissful states.
